Pratip Lahiri | Daily Gazette Coverage Photo Gallery | | Synopsis | | On Saturday, June 3rd, Utsav celebrated Bengali Heritage Day at Calvary United Methodist Church in Latham, NY. This was an ethnic Bengali program to keep Bengali heritage alive in our home away from home. This was an open event where all were welcome. The program started at around 3 PM and ended at around 9 PM. It started with a variety program for about 2 hrs, followed by a snack break; then a Bangla naatak, followed by dinner. The committee members and volunteers made arrangements for all the food. Everybody present had a relaxing and enjoyable afternoon and evening of "going back to our roots" thru great fun and entertainment. There were no entry fee for the event. Utsav would like to thank advertisers, donors, patrons, Calvary United Methodist Church would not have been possible otherwise.
