The priest for this auspicious occasion was Pt. Shri Balu Dixit. Saturday celebrations included Puja, Pushpanjali, Prasad, Lunch, A Musical Evening, Sandhyarati and Dinner. Sunday celebrations included Puja, Pushpanjali, Dhunuchi Dance, Sindur Khela, Bisarjan. The event was open to public. The mood was festive. The Puja was elevating. The food was delicious. People were on cloud nine. Utsav thanks its esteemed members, guests, pathrons, the priest, Niskayuna High School and School Board, and last but not the list, Rick Schrade of Schrade Insurance (insurance agent for Utsav) for making this Durga Puja a memorable event. With everyone's continued support, Utsav will keep spreading the flavor of Bengal to the Capital Region community.
